Today, it begins (redux)
Dear Writer, you might be receiving this twice. I accidentally published it last night, when I didn’t have subscribers, and went “Oops!” and unpublished it, then republished it today, but I think it just went to the website because it thinks it was already sent out, because it was, and no one wants to be spammed. So if you already got this… sorry! And… how’s this for a banging start to a new project?
Dear Writer,
Today, it begins. I’m starting something new today. Maybe you are, too. Maybe you’ve been scared to start it or intimidated by how much work there is to do or just overwhelmed by where to start.
Or maybe you’re cracking through it and just keeping your momentum.
No matter where you are or what you’re doing, take a moment now, with me, to breathe.
We can do this. We can do this. We can do this.
Scared doesn’t mean anything. Intimidated doesn’t mean anything. Overwhelmed doesn’t mean anything.
You’re here, now. So am I. Let’s each take one step, just one. One step is doable. Right now, define your today step. For me, it’s launching this newsletter. Tomorrow, it’ll be something else.
What is it for you? Make sure it’s achievable, small, an amuse-bouche of activity. One little thing that you know you can do. Then do it.
And I’ll see you here tomorrow.
Everything,
L
