I am so happy for you! Congratulations! I completely agree with you about love and marriage being two separate types of adventures. One of my favorite authors, Mary Balogh, wrote in Slightly Married something that stuck with me and I read it for my best friend's wedding. When someone gets married, we wish them happily ever after, but she wrote that "There is something infinitely better than happily ever after. There is happiness. Happiness is a living, dynamic thing, Eve, and as to be worked on every moment for the rest of our lives. It is a far more exciting prospect than that silly static idea of a happily ever after." I wish you a lifetime of happiness :)
Wishing you both wonderful happy and eternal boxcars!
Thank you so much, Liz!
